Status : OnlineFind the existing feeder ID that you want to use. You can find this either as the "Site Identifier" on the site's statistics page (My ADS-B) or from the PiAware logs in /var/log/piaware.log on your existing install. The identifier looks like a series of dash-separated hex digits, e.g., 12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789abc.
Status : OnlinePiAware is a FlightAware client program that runs on a Raspberry Pi to securely transmit dump1090 ADS-B and Mode S data to FlightAware. PiAware is for people who are already running their own Raspberry Pi with an ADS-B receiver and dump1090.
Status : OnlineSelect the PiAware zip file. Select the correct Micro SD card USB drive carefully, the process will overwrite any data on the drive and people have lost years worth of pictures accidentally. Consider removing external hard drives and other devices to avoid accidentally overwriting the data.
Status : OnlineWith a PiAware 3 sdcard image, you can configure the wireless details in /boot/piaware-config.txt which should be easily editable on another system e.g. a PC as it’s on a FAT partition. If you do configure it by logging in, you’ll need to either edit /boot/piaware-config.txt or equivalently use the piaware-config utility; changes to /etc/network/interfaces et al will get clobbered on reboot.
